YICHEN ZHANG, M.D.
Yichen Zhang is a recent magna cum laude M.D. graduate of the Health Sciences and Technology Program at Harvard Medical School.
In the Gehrke lab, Yichen was our imaging expert, spending many long and late hours in the confocal microscopy suite. His work was instrumental in demonstrating the differential host-pathogen interactions and pathogenesis of Zika virus-infected cerebral organoids.
Yichen knows a lot about great restaurants and has been known to travel half-way around the world to sample food. He also takes a lot of photos of the food and he has a food blog.
Yichen is currently a resident in internal medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
